Operating with five houses in the central area of Ottawa, Daybreak is a non-profit charitable organization that provides affordable "supportive" homes for low-income single adults in need.

Daybreak's mission is to help its residents achieve their individual potential by offering a safe, caring communal environment in which personal growth can be fostered.

Daybreak's funding comes mostly from government programs, churches, service clubs, community foundations and businesses. Individuals can also support Daybreak through various categories of memberships (starting at $25) and other forms of donations and volunteer activities.
